I was the lucky to win the bid on the purchase, and here is my proof of payment.

After a recent hardware malfunction, I’ve had to rebuild my pc from backups. Having done most of that now, a little cleaning is underway.

In the process, I found the source of the video linked shown below. It got me to thinking, how’s about an edited, BTS (Behind the Scenes) type of video?

The Road most travelled

The shot above I took when driving back to Dublin after a weekend back west. I’ve had to do a few of those trips lately, and I’ve noticed that in certain light, parts of the motorway can be very visually striking.

About two weeks, I opted not to take a shot that I sorely regret now. It was the night the moon was bright red and large on the horizon, and on part of the motorway I was on, the moon was perfectly framed inside a bridge, with subtle lines leading up to the framed moon. As I saw this, I also realised that I had driven too far to safely stop and take the shot. There were more moments like that that evening, still kicking myself for not taking those shots.

Lesson learned though, if possible within acceptable bounds of safety, I will be taking more shots on my drive’s to/from home.

Took this shot last night as I was trying out time lapse/star trails.

No idea what the red light is, I have no recollection of seeing a plane, or other flying implements in the sky.

What I find interesting is that a plane would have left a straighter line (or at least I would have thought so), and also the other lights on the plane fuselage may have shown up.

Any suggestions welcome!

So over the last while, I have been wanting to re-design my site with more of an emphasis on photographs than anything else.
